A poco più di un mese di distanza non si è ancora esaurita la carica emotiva della 21esima edizione della Maratona di Ravenna Città d’Arte e, mentre si lavora già instancabilmente al 2020 con obiettivo fissato su Domenica 8 Novembre, si torna a parlare di un evento di portata storica per tutta la Romagna come quello andato in scena nel weekend dello scorso 10 Novembre.
Nella giornata di oggi infatti, si sono svolte le tradizionali premiazioni degli Istituti Scolastici che in vario modo hanno preso parte alla Maratona di Ravenna 2019 e dei gruppi di animazione e delle band che sono state la cornice musicale della manifestazione. La sala multimediale dei Chiostri Francescani di Ravenna, a due passi dal sepolcro di Dante Alighieri, ha ospitato la consegna dei diplomi di Ravenna Runners Club e della medaglia ufficiale in mosaico realizzata a mano da Annafietta, effettuata dal presidente dell’associazione Stefano Righini alla presenza anche di docenti e dirigenti dell’Ufficio Scolastico Regionale Emilia Romagna Ambito Territoriale di Ravenna.
Gli istituti scolastici premiati per i volontari messi in campo già dalle giornate precedenti l’evento per 
l’allestimento e la preparazione dei pacchi gara, oltre che nelle giornate di gara, sono stati l’ITIS Nullo Baldini, l’Istituto Tecnico Morigia-Itas Perdisa, l’IPS Olivetti Callegari, il Liceo Scientifico A. Oriani, il Liceo Artistico statale Nervi-Severini e l’IPSEOA Istituto Alberghiero T. Guerra di Cervia. Le stesse scuole, senza l’IPSEOA e con l’aggiunta del Polo Tecnico Professionale di Lugo, hanno anche ricevuto un riconoscimento per aver partecipato correndo la Martini Good Morning Ravenna 10,5K.
E dopo le scuole, è toccato alle band e ai gruppi di animazione che, dislocati lungo tutto il percorso della Maratona dello scorso 10 Novembre, hanno contribuito a creare una cornice davvero unica nel suo genere. Diplomi e attestati che sono toccati ai rappresentanti o ai portavoce di White Kings Band, Michele Guerra, Alfonsine Pop Folk, Gruppo Milleluci Alfonsine, Supernormal, Like Black
Holes in the Sky, G&L Music, The Peter Sellers, OverThinking, White Kings Band, Wind Storm, Gianluigi e Brian V, Molinetto Arpa & Sax e infine Mama’s Scuola di Musica. Un lungo elenco che termina con Cheerleader e Chiefs Ravenna, consueti protagonisti dell’animazione sulla start line di Via di Roma.
«La giornata dedicata a Istituti Scolastici e Band – ha spiegato il presidente Stefano Righini a nome di tutta Ravenna Runnes Club – per noi ha un significato davvero speciale. Vogliamo infatti dimostrare ancora una volta l’apprezzamento per quanto fatto e la particolare attenzione che prestiamo ad ogni forma di volontariato e collaborazione nell’ambito di un evento che, senza il supporto dell’intero territorio romagnolo non avrebbe potuto raggiungere i traguardi degli ultimi tempi. Senza l’impegno di così tante persone la Maratona di Ravenna non potrebbe mai essere tale. A tutti loro va la nostra infinita gratitudine nella consapevolezza del ruolo imprescindibile rivestito da ogni singolo volontario, dal primo all’ultimo, senza distinzioni. Ogni compito è importante, da quello più semplice a quello più complesso».

In fact, today the traditional awards of the School Institutes took place to whom in various ways took part in the Ravenna Marathon 2019 and of the animation groups and bands that were the musical frame of the event. The multimedia room of the Franciscan Cloisters of Ravenna, a stone’s throw from Dante Alighieri’s tomb, hosted the delivery of the Ravenna Runners Club diplomas and the official mosaic medal handmade by Annafietta, carried out by the president of the association Stefano Righini in attendance also of teachers and managers of the Emilia Romagna Regional School Office, Territorial Area of Ravenna.
The schools awarded for the volunteers deployed from the days preceding the event for the preparation and preparation of the race packages, as well as on the competition days, were the ITIS Nullo Baldini, the Morigia-Itas Perdisa Technical Institute, the IPS Olivetti Callegari, the A. A long list that ends with Cheerleader and Chiefs Ravenna, the usual protagonists of the animation on the Via di Roma start line.

In fact, we want to demonstrate once again the appreciation for what we have done and the particular attention we pay to every form of volunteering and collaboration in the context of an event that, without the support of the entire territory of Romagna, could not have reached the goals of recent times . Without the commitment of so many people, the Ravenna Marathon could never be such. Our infinite gratitude goes to all of them in the awareness of the essential role played by each individual volunteer, from the first to the last, without distinction. Every task is important, from the simplest to the most complex one ».
